Greenbelt’s CEO Highlights ECOsystem Model in China “Cooperation Conferences”

PASO ROBLES, Calif., June 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via OTC PR WIRE -- Greenbelt Resources Corporation’s (OTC:GRCO) (Greenbelt) ECOsystem model received interest from participants of multiple Cooperation Conferences in China earlier this month when CEO Darren Eng represented Greenbelt at the invitation of China’s Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation as part of a multicity touring delegation.

During one-on-one meetings, Attendees of the both Tianjin International Energy & Environment Cooperation Conference and the China-U.S. Investment Cooperation Conference expressed direct interest in Greenbelt’s expertise in delivering a sustainable ECOsystem model that transforms agricultural biomass into revenue generating bioproducts such as high protein animal feed and bioethanol.

Greenbelt has previously received particular recognition in the Asian region, with Greenbelt’s technology having received certified Ecolabel status by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

The stated goal of the Cooperation Conferences in China is to foster collaboration and financial support for sustainable and environmentally beneficial technologies and business.  One of the largest sponsors of the Tianjin conference was Sponge City Investment Shares Company (Sponge City).  Sponge City has multiple initiatives, which include an industrial park and ecofriendly land development and is an incubator of environmentally focused companies.  Sponge Cities hosted a round table providing an opportunity for the U.S. delegation, which included CEO Eng, to learn about, interact with, and explore potential relationships with the leadership of each of the incubator companies.

“Thanks to the U.S.-China Clean Tech Center who organized the delegation,” noted Greenbelt CEO Darren Eng, “Greenbelt now has the potential opportunity to provide its expertise in collaboration and cooperation with a wide range of entities in China, including influential real estate developers, government agencies in charge of sustainable and commercial regional development, industrial parks, environmental engineering firms, other environmentally focused companies and an existing ethanol producer.  I expect to further discussions and negotiations over the coming weeks and months.”

“Based on the breadth of potential cooperative relationships presented to Greenbelt, there are a myriad of ways Greenbelt’s technology and expertise can enhance the ability of  interested parties to achieve their sustainability goals and address China’s ethanol mandate,” Eng concluded.  A delegation summary report of Greenbelt’s presence in China has been posted to the Greenbelt website.
