Spanish solar energy specialist Soltec Power Holdings SA (BME:SOL) has secured an order to supply 200 MW of its solar trackers to a customer in Spain, the company said on Tuesday.

Spanish engineering and consulting services firm Grupotec Servicios Avanzados SA purchased the trackers to use in five projects located in the province of Almeria in Spain’s Andalusia region.

Based on Soltec’s press release, it appears that those five projects will create one larger solar farm, equipped with over 347,240 solar photovoltaic panels. Soltec will deliver a total of 4501 two-in-vertical (2P) solar trackers from its SF7 series.

Once finished, the solar farm will be capable of generating enough electricity to power more than 114,000 households, Soltec added.
